Jueves+Camino

El camino al cielo. MadRE, Napoli, Italia. 

Los museos son para mi el cielo. Son un pequeño paraíso lleno de tranquilidad. Las escaleras que llevan a la azotea del Museo de Arte Contemporanea de Napoli muestran exactamente esto.

The MadRE museum in Napoli is maybe one of my favorite contemporary art Museums. It's not so much the pieces they have (although they have a great collection), it is more the contrast that it provides when compared to the rest of the city. Back in the summer of 2009 I travelled alone in Napoli for about 4 days. It was incredibly hot and sticky in the city, and of course full of action and crowds. At one point I was so tired of walking, of the heat, of the noise, and I went into this museum and it was so peaceful. Like a piece of heaven inside a busy city.
